This novel is entitled ‘Hopeless’ but it only gives hope for its readers. Hope for the troubled, hope for the messed up, hope for the heartbroken readers.
Hopeless is the book that got me into reading, no matter how hard I will try to be objective I still won’t be able to, It was my first, and as we know firsts hold a special place in the heart. This book helped me get over my first love. At first, I thought it is just a random novel that would keep my head busy to not think about him, but little did I know it was the best thing that happened to me. It got me into reading. And the journey started from there.
What I loved about this book is that it is engaging from the very first line. The writer’s engaging style will get you hooked from the first line. This novel will take you into a ride of emotions, so you better prepare tissues, and prepare yourself to fall in love. The character’s sense of humour made me fall for it even more. No matter your age, you will relate and feel sympathy for the characters. It is both heartbreaking and heart-warming. Your heart will root for the characters, for Sky and Holder.
When you are done with the book it will feel like you lost some dear friends. I highly recommend Hopeless, as it has a special place in my heart. Hopeless taught me that it is not all about the firsts but about the “forevers”, not the first love that matters but the one who stays forever, the one who you will never run out of firsts with.
The novel is phenomenal; you won’t be able to put the book down. This novel won’t simply leave you, when you are done it will affect your life and change you, it will add a new beautiful element to your life.
